Just a question , what do you think of the new dictionary tool that has been added to the top of the site??

Cheers

Seems a little limited on translations. I think Google translate may be a little better.

from google..

http://translate.google.com/translate_t?hl=en#

this is pretty good, at least it gives you a better idea of what an email sent in Finnish is all about.. gives you the GIST of the conversation.

Google translate is ok - really handy is firefox addon gtranslate 5.1 which lets you highlight text then right click and get the answer. It uses google translate.

For a better dictionary try http://www.sanakirja.org

As for the dictionary added here - I think it takes up too much space and is it really needed ?

Its a bit annoying due to the position! Can it go somewhere else? Bottom of the page maybe?

I completely agree Sara.

My random rant...
So the point is?
I don't appreciate ads on the site, let alone half the webpage being taken up with a translator on an "english speaking" website.
I could understand it if the site was in finnish and needed to be translated, but then again I just google page translate.

Yep

I agree, it's fecking annoying there at the top of the page.

If it must be somewhere (must it?) then hide it on it's own page, or at least down in the footers somewhere.

Bah. Fecking translations. Ar$e.

I like it. Can we make it bigger and make it flash and make a noise too?
