I found this info on the EX pat bb.
There is an Anglican Chaplin in Helsinki..could be useful to know/contact..
He talks about having "church basars"...Rupert Moreton, Anglican Chaplain, Helsinki
I found the www site..bit basic...but at least it tells those interested where the church is..

I have already posted threads here and "elsewhere" about the Christmas bazaar... last one was end of November (on that Saturday when all the snow fell) somewhere on Bulevardi. There was a raffle with plane tickets etc etc a big food stall with stuff imported for the occasion including mincemeat, Wagon Wheels, stuffing, PG Tips, mint sauce, jelly and all the usual ex-pat yucky stuff and then a huge 2nd hand book stall (1€ for paperbacks and 50 c for kids books) and also somebody selling Christmas crackers (with the crackers) and of course the Morris Men and refreshments. It was packed. Now the renovations of the Agricola church are finished I guess the next book sale event will take place in there as usual.
